On Saturday 6 June at 2pm, Elizabeth Sheridan and her team paddled up to the Travelling Light venue in her customised sea kayak. A collaboration between artists Liz Sheridan and Cedric Christie, the kayak is emblazoned with names of famous explorers disguised as corporate logos. Sheridan travelled the canals of Venice to coincide with the opening events of the Biennale on the weekend 5 - 7 June 2009. Liz and her art kayak will go on to explore overlooked margins of the European continent.
